Black Diamond Camalot Z4 friend

Born out of an open-hearted meeting with top BD climbers Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias and Babsi Zangerl, the Camalot Z4 is the realisation of a dream: to have a single stem cam that remains rigid in the hand, but flexes when positioned. Here is the patent-pending RigidFlex stem. Thanks to the independent floating threads, the Camalot Z4 does not bend while under tension and in the retracted position, but once in place allows the stem to move, ensuring a positioning that stays put and does not walk when pulled in the direction. The stem on the larger sizes also utilises a double braided cable structure that ensures uniform bending in all directions, while the single cable structure is implemented on the smaller sizes to avoid bending when the trigger is pulled hard and to reduce the profile of the trigger. Featuring a head width similar to that of the old Camalot C3, but with 4 sandblasted lobes for better grip, the Z4s are not only an upgrade, but are also available in smaller sizes, starting from 0, the smallest cam ever produced, down to 0.75, allowing you to dial up the rack, whether you're looking for a toe slot in the desert or going light and fast on the Bugs.
