Camp Voyager helmet

The Camp Voyager is a helmet for ski mountaineering that complies with the ISMF regulation for dual certification to EN 12492 (mountaineering) and EN 1077/B (alpine skiing). The dual certification guarantees a higher standard of safety for athletes and enthusiasts, ensuring in particular high protection against side impacts. To pass the stringent tests required by the EN 1077/B standard, the Camp Voyager features an in-mold construction that combines the advantages of this technology with hard-shell technology: outer shell in extremely hard and impact-resistant plastic (ABS), inner core in expanded polystyrene (EPS) reinforced with a layer of polycarbonate (PC) to absorb shocks and provide additional strength. Comfort is ensured by the 17 openings, the breathable base padding and the possibility of replacing it with the anti-sweat foam kit consisting of a top, a nape (to cover the adjustment wheel) and a front (supplied in two different thicknesses, 5 and 10 mm, for maximum customisation). The removable earmuff is attached and detached by means of lateral slots. Worthy of note is the exclusive headlamp/mask holder system equipped with 3 elastics (2 lateral and 1 rear) that allow one or the other accessory to be quickly attached, even while wearing gloves and without removing the helmet. The Voyager is also equipped with an internal RECCO® reflector which, in the event of an avalanche, accident or loss of orientation, makes the skier traceable by mountain rescue operators equipped with RECCO® detectors (warning: this technology in no way replaces ARTVA).

Technologies

RECCO® technology
In the event of a loss in the outdoors or a valnga accident, RECCO technology makes you traceable to rescue organisations. RECCO reflectors require no battery to operate. RECCO detectors are used worldwide by professional rescuers.
This technology is not a substitute for an avalanche transceiver: it does not prevent avalanches, it guarantees the survival or location of the victim or lost person.
