When you pick up one of these backpacks, what you see is the ‘signature’ of the employees who made it. No shred of fabric is too small to be reused in the Del Día Collection, helping to keep good material out of landfills.
How does it work? Employees at a factory in the Philippines sort excess rolls of fabric. Using these waste materials, experienced designers and seamstresses mix and match fabrics and components (e.g. zips, pullers, buckles and thread) to their liking. The result? Unique, waste-free products with an integrated connection between the design team, stitchers and customers.
