The cartridge wrapped in extremely light carbon fiber meets the most demanding requirements. When filled it weighs around just 310 grams, which is about 50% less than a steel or aluminum cartridge. The cartridge is an essential component of the avalanche airbag system and must be ordered separately. It is intended for sale in Europe and must be refilled by the manufacturer after any deployment.
