Salewa Ortles Screw carabiner 2025

Ortles Screw is a screwgate carabiner designed to be both strong and lightweight and offer maximum versatility. Ideal for attaching to belay and belay systems. Meticulously engineered in design, it features a slim, tapered keylock beak that prevents sudden, unintentional hooking while the wide lever opening improves maneuverability in hook-and-loop and knots such as boatman. The aluminum frame has a shape designed to optimize material use by reducing weight and resource use but maintaining the highest standard of protection. The wide rope contact base ensures great durability. Equipped with an additional hole in the beak to clear ice, snow or dirt.
