Scarpa Zodiac TRK GTX boots
Zodiac TRK GTX is a trekking boot suitable for prolonged use. The patented technology Bascula Adaptive System, has softer concentric areas on the toe and heel which adapt to the ground, guaranteeing traction and stability. In addition, the heel control facilitates progression on steep and sloping terrain. Made in a soft Perwanger Nepal Oil, it is equipped with an autofit collar to secure the ankle while supporting its movement.
Upper
Upper made by Perwanger water repellent leather stands for innovation and quality. Sock-Fit XT construction system that wraps around the food like a sock. Protective rubber rand.
Lacing
Extended Lacing fastening down to the toe from the world of climbing, for maximum customisation and a comfortable fit. Laces held in place by metal eyelets.
Lining
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane keeps the shoe dry and offers a perfect foot thermoregulation.
Sole
ABS Precision is the new sole with Bascula Adaptive System technology that combines rigid and rocker caps in the foot strike phase, ensuring excellent grip and safety on all surfaces and inclines while maintaining maximum comfort. The technology works as a balancing element, controlling the support of the foot and promoting proper impact with the ground. It ensures safe walking and maximum balance even on uneven trails where the foot, forced into unnatural positions, needs maximum support. The MONT - VIBRAM compound tread also features channels that can promote the failure of a specific area in case of uneven terrain. But at the same time grip is maintained and foot stability is increased.

Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® fabrics offer long-lasting, comfortable weather protection. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, yet big enough for perspiration to pass right through. Gore-Tex® products have a high waterproof rating (water column) and can withstand up to 28,000 mm of water pressure – more than monsoon rain. The membrane is bonded between an outer fabric and a high-performance lining. Depending on the construction, the result is either a 2-layer, 2.5-layer or 3-layer laminate. Gore-Tex® in a 3-layer construction offers a combination of enhanced durability and high breathability, while the 2-layer laminate provides lightweight weather protection.
