The Cross Trail 7R is ideal for runners who want a versatile headlamp. The R stands for Run and with this model, you get the compact and flexible Cross Trail headlamp together with the lightweight 2.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) battery. The battery weighs only 85 grams but will still give you an extended range during your daily runs.
The Cross Trail 7R is equipped with the new and improved headlamp battery holder that keeps the battery in place and improves comfort when carrying the battery on your head. The battery holder is attached to the headband: just slide the battery in. With this headlamp you can be sure that darkness will not stop you.
2.0 ah battery
The Cross Trail 7R is equipped with a very light 2.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) rechargeable battery with a burn time of 13 hours in minimum mode, 8 hours in medium mode and 5 hours in maximum mode. The battery, which weighs only 85 grams, is located in the battery holder on the back of the head. There is an integrated low battery warning and a reserve mode, which automatically adjusts the light to a setting that guarantees a safe ride home with 30 minutes of guaranteed light.

Loaded with light functions
The Cross Trail 7R is equipped with Silva Intelligent Light, a unique combination of a long-range spotlight and close-range diffused light. This light customisation results in less head movement and a clear view of obstacles near and far, and you get the balance and confidence you need to move quickly and perform better. The ingenious Silva Flow Light function takes light optimisation even further, offering smooth adjustment of the light pattern simply by tilting the headlamp. A downward tilt makes the beams wider, and when tilting the headlamp forward, the light reaches a greater distance.
The super-low mode function (80 lumens) allows for extended training sessions or races while minimising battery consumption when maximum light is not needed. It is perfect for running, where you can use the super-low mode when running at zero and save battery power for more technical routes.
Additional batteries and accessories are available for this headlamp model. By adding more battery options to your headlamp configuration, you can find the right balance between burn time and weight for different activities and conditions.
Comfort and weight
Weight is essential when you want to push your limits to the next level. The ergonomic battery holder is designed to hold the battery firmly on the back of your head, but can be detached and replaced by the rear cable guide if you want to keep your headlamp clean and simple. The wide non-slip strap and ergonomic back plate ensure a comfortable fit even during long and difficult activities.
