Traverse is the “light hiking” proposition, a low-top shoe designed with the hiker who does not want to use a hiking boot in mind. Traverse, as a development of the Ultraventure Pro, also serves as a durable and protective option for trail running in technical terrain. Ideal for long hikes over rugged terrain and mountain trails. Breathable, durable, tightly woven mesh upper that makes the foot stable and secure. The upper, combined with a more snug fit, makes the model very stable and precise giving a great feeling of security even on challenging stretches. Strategically placed PU printing on the upper adds additional structure and strength in high abrasion areas. 30-25 mm differential, 5 mm drop, with rock-plate on the forefoot. The rock plate protects the foot but also makes the shoe more resistant to twisting and therefore more suitable for stances on technical terrain where precision is needed. Zipper Foam midsole that provides the perfect blend of cushioning and protection while still allowing some ground feel, which is essential when hiking in technical terrain. New insole made with TPU beads that will not soak in if it gets wet. This allows water to be expelled faster, leaving the foot drier. Midsole contact beads increase stability even if the insole is wet. The proven Vibram Megagrip outsole provides excellent traction and slip resistance on all terrains, especially in wet conditions.
